Temitope Banwo, D.O.

Dr. Banwo is a Nigerian born, Nebraska bred physician who is proud to care for the community she calls home. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, attended Des Moines University for medical school, and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Dr. Banwo enjoys practicing the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology, with particular interests in contraception management, abnormal uterine bleeding, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including da Vinci robotic surgery. She cares for patients across the spectrum of pregnancy, from low-risk to high-risk, and welcomes patients interested in VBAC.

Dr. Banwo is passionate about empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health and believes in creating personalized care plans that align with each patient’s goals and values.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Banwo enjoys cooking, hosting small gatherings, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and dining experiences.
