Melissa Howey, A.P.R.N

Melissa Howey is a nurse practitioner board certified in Women’s Health and Family Practice.  She is from Omaha, Nebraska and received her undergraduate degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln before pursuing a nursing degree from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha.  Melissa worked as a registered nurse in orthopedics/spine and then postpartum before going back to school for her Master’s Degree.  She received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Women’s Health in 2014 and a Postmaster’s Certificate in Family in 2017.

Melissa joins Dr. Jaime Seeman and Mid-City OB-GYN after working as a nurse practitioner in a community health center providing primary care to a diverse population of patients.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.  In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with husband and 3 children, exercising, and sporting events.
