Dr. Emily Hunt completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Loyola University in New Orleans. She subsequently received her Doctor of Medicine degree with high honors from Ross University School of Medicine. Following medical school, she completed Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at NYU – Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, New York. Before coming to Omaha, Dr. Hunt was employed as an OB-GYN hospitalist at New York Presbyterian Queens.
Her true passion lies in general obstetrics, which includes prenatal care, and labor management of both high and-low risk pregnancies. She is a current member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is co-author of both peer-reviewed and nationally presented scientific articles. VBACs are welcome in her practice under current national guidelines.
Dr. Hunt was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, in Cherry Hill, NJ. She has long had a passion for live music, travel, and Philadelphia sports. She comes to Nebraska with her husband, young daughter, and bulldog with whom she very much values her time. She is very excited to meet and care for all her new patients!
