Andrea Brudigan DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Omaha
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I attended College of Saint Mary where I received my Associate and Bachelor’s degree in nursing while working on an acute inpatient psychiatric unit. I then went on to earn my Master’s Degree in Nursing Education while teaching fundamental and psychiatric nursing at College of Saint Mary. I returned to school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center earning my Doctorate in Nursing Practice as a PMHNP. I am passionate about the importance of education and for my love for mental health.
My role as a PMHNP is to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders. Treatment of mental health disorders includes medication management, care coordination, and developing a treatment plan that is going to best fit the patient’s needs. My primary focus is medication management and providing supportive therapy.
I am a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society for Nurses.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my husband, three children, and traveling across the US riding motocross.
